Over the years I have done a lot of observation and people watching is one of my favourite past times. I feel you can learn so much just walking around, viewing but not directly interacting with other people. There have been moments where I have found it difficult not to step in when I saw  people being treated poorly or a person acting without integrity but I have come to realise that sometimes is not our place to say anything, we need to allow things to play out and our task in this instance is to simply be the observer.

Sometimes our mission is to look on and see what is occurring around us without acting but instead taking note of how people are treating others, what their actions or motives are. By observing these events and simply watching we can then take back this wisdom and use it in an immensely powerful way. By taking note of others actions it can show us the right way to treat others, how to be the best we can be and how to stay true to ourselves without ever compromising our own integrity.

Not only can someone’s behaviour teach us what to do or not to do we can also learn great lessons by someone’s body language, and it can give us great insight into who this person is – even without any words being exchanged. As the saying goes ‘Actions speak louder than words’. I know this to be true. Over the years I have come to realise that you can’t change the way that people treat others but you can learn greatly how NOT to treat others by watching their behaviours.
